The Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Foundation has become a partner in the AmazonSmile program, which donates a half percent of all eligible Amazon purchases to the charity of your choice. “Many people shop on Amazon, so this is a wonderful and easy way to support DMACC student scholarships at the same time,” says Foundation Executive Director, Tara Connolly. “The great thing is there is no cost to the DMACC Foundation or to AmazonSmile customers.” The only thing users need to do is to navigate to smile.amazon.com and designate their charity of choice below and to the left of the search bar. Once the DMACC Foundation is selected, every time you make a purchase from smile.amazon.com, the donation will be made on your behalf. The shopping experience is identical to Amazon.com, it just includes this added benefit.
