Coon Rapids Bayard At Newell Fonda

Coon Rapids Bayard took 4 girls to the event and were able to place in four event scoring a total of 9 points.  Miranda Garcia was able to cut time in her 100 Meters and finished in 7^th in 14.80. She also placed 7^th in the Shot Put at 28-06. Garcia teamed up with Bridget Shirbroun, Madison Mohr and Kadey Olson for 6^th place in the 4×200 and 7^th place in the 4×100.

Audubon At Underwood

The Wheelers depth showed through again on Friday as they were able to point in all but 1 event. That depth across the board helped them finish 2^nd with 109 points behind the host school in Underwood (163). The Wheelers won two individual events and one relay while taking 2^nd in two individual events and one relay. They took top 3 in 6 individual events and 3 relays.

Elizabeth Zaiger won the discus with her best toss of 110-05, she was also 3^rd in the Shot Put at 33-08. Hannah Thygesen continued her strong season winning the 800 Meters in 2:32.08. Madison Steckler and Mattie Nielsen grabbed silver medals with Steckler in the 100 Meters in 13.34 and Nielsen in the 400 Meters in 1:04.90. Katelyn Nielsen took 3^rd in the Long Jump with her best jump at 15-05. The 4×800 team took their only 1^st place in relays with a 10:36.77 with Mattie Nielsen, Audrey Jensen, Hannah Thygesen and Kodie Sporrer. She 4×400 team of Abigail Zaiger, Hannah Thygesen, Madison Steckler, and Mattie Nielsen was 2^nd in 4:25.88. The final relay in the top 3 as the Shuttle Hurdle with Steckler, Nielsen, Madison Burr and Nielsen. They ran a 1:13.76.
