It was a really good day for the Carroll boys as they nearly brought home the team and individual championships. The Tigers fell 3 strokes short of winning the team title, shooting a 338, just behind Spencer who finished with a 335. The Tigers had two golfers in the top 5 with both Ty Nissen and Drew Munson shooting under 80. They continue their great start to the season.

Nissen won the individual title with a 76, he had 2 birdies and 12 pars. He played really well on the par 3’s paring all 5 of them. Nissen was 4 over on the par 4’s and 1 over on the par 5’s only because he took an 8 on 15 which lifted him from 2 under to 1 over. Munson had 2 birdies and 10 pars on the day. He finished with a 79 and was 5th overall. Munson was 2 over on the par 3’s though he shot par on 4 of the 5 holes. He shot 7 over on the par 4’s and was 1 under on the par 5’s. Bryce Berlau finished 11th with a 86 and Will Ragaller was 29th with a 97 for the Tigers.

Audubon, Coon Rapids Bayard and Kuemper At Panorama Invite

Kuemper finished 3rd with the individual champion while Coon Rapids Bayard took 9th but had two of the top 6 individuals and Audubon would finish in 7th. The Knights shot a 371 to finish behind Webster City with a 355 and Panorama with a 359. Audubon finished with a 412 and Coon Rapids Bayard had a 433.

Jack Tiefenthaler of Kuemper was the individual champion shooting an 82. Tiefenthaler had a birdie on a par 3 and was 1 over on par 3’s for the day. He finished with 7 par’s including shooting par on 16, 17 and 18. Tiefenthaler went 6 over on the par 4’s and was 3 over on the par 5’s. Josh Ramirez led Coon Rapids Bayard with an 87 and had 8 pars on the day. He finished in 4th place and was 2 over on the par 3’s, 11 over on par 4’s and 1 over on par 5’s. Jacob Estrada of Coon Rapids Bayard finished in 6th place with an 88. He shot 6 pars and was 5 over on the par 3’s, 8 over on the par 4’s and 3 over on the par 5’s.

Maverick Schwabe of Kuemper shot a 95, Mitchell Badding and Carter Putney of Kuemper both had 97. Kolby Culbertson shot a 111 and Toby Benninger of Coon Rapids Bayard finished with a 147. Audubon was led by Jay Remsburg and Carter Andreassen with 97’s, Joey Schramm a 101 and Aiden Alta a 117.
