Girls Class 1A Regional Golf Results
IKM-Manning and Glidden Ralston At Lakeside At Fort Dodge
Two area golfers advanced into the Regional Final next Monday in Holstein as Kylie Powers of IKM-Manning finished 2nd and Kim Daily of Glidden Ralston was 4th allowing both of their seasons to continue. The Wolves had a full team and finished 4th overall with a 436 while Glidden Ralston brought just two golfers and didn’t have a team score. Remsen St Mary’s claimed the team title with a 384 and Newell Fonda also advanced with a 407. Only five of the eight teams had enough golfers to have a team score.
Kylie Powers continued her great season with a 2nd place finish by shooting a 85. She was the only Wolves to advance as Bre Muhlbauer finished with a 110, Megan Williams a 120 and Brooke Booth a 121.
Kim Daily has had an impressive year for Glidden Ralston and moved a step closer to advancing to State with a 97 which earned her a 4th place finish. Elizabeth Lloyd was the other Wildcat golfer and she shot a 141.
