The Kuemper Knights continued to grow as a team in their match against Glenwood Monday. Glenwood in the first half would get out to a 7-0 lead and kept Kuemper from scoring. The Rams continued to add to their lead in the second half and eventually ended the match via mercy rule 10-0 with 22 minutes to go in the contest. Cate Mayhall and Kenya Prescott both had a shot on goal while Ashlyn Badding recorded 19 saves.
The Knights fall to 8-7 on the season as Glenwood improves to 12-3. Kuemper continues regular season play when they travel to take on Greene County on Thursday, May 20th.
