The primary item of business for next week’s Carroll County Board of Supervisors meeting is a review of the county’s health services. The supervisors will begin their meeting with a thorough examination of county-funded programs related to health and wellness, such as Carroll County Public Health, the General Assistance office and Veterans Affairs, to evaluate the success of these offerings and how they could be improved. At 9:45 a.m., the board will hear from ISG Engineering regarding a county right of way near Lanesboro. This will be followed by reports from County Engineer, Zac Andersen, concerning secondary roads and set public hearing date for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application. The final items of business are to review an updated hazard mitigation plan prepared by Region XII Council of Governments and approve a service agreement for the county’s substance abuse prevention program. The board will close with approval of manure management annual updates and reports from committees.
