Storm Lake Man Charged For Allegedly Bringing Narcotics Into Correctional Facility

A Storm Lake man faces a felony charge after narcotics were found on his person while he was being booked into the Buena Vista County jail. The Storm Lake Police Department was dispatched to Chautauqua Park at approximately 2:30 p.m. on a report of a male sleeping in the park. Law enforcement made contact with the individual, identified as 37-year-old Peter Aladihn, and allege he was showing signs of alcohol intoxication. Authorities say marijuana and drug paraphernalia were also located in his possession. During the booking process, an amount of methamphetamine was also found on Aladihn. He is now charged with introducing a controlled substance into a correctional facility, a class D felony, and misdemeanor first- and second-offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on a $7,300 bond.
