Officials with the City of Carroll have confirmed a problem with a wall of the street maintenance facility currently under construction at East 3rd and North Maple Streets. The concrete walls were cast off-site, brought in and placed, allowing the shell to be erected in only 10 days. However, after installation it was discovered some panels in one of those walls were not cast according to the engineering plans and specifications. New panels are currently being cast and scheduled for delivery and installation. As of the end of June, the more than $5.11 million shed was about 30 days behind schedule.
