No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Saturday in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department responded to the scene in the 300 block of east U.S. Highway 30 at approximately 2:54 p.m. A 16-year-old male from Glidden was eastbound on 30 in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado and was slowing for traffic. Behind him was 18-year-old Treyton Goins, driving a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Goins failed to stop in time to avoid rear-ending the Silverado and the Jeep sustained disabling damage. Goins was cited for following too closely.
