CCPH Is Hosting Vaccination Clinic This Afternoon For Those 12 And Up

Carroll County Public Health (CCPH) is reporting that 1,006 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to 12- to 19-year-olds through their partnerships with Manning Regional Healthcare Center, McFarland and St. Anthony Clinics as well as the Carroll Apothecary, Hy-Vee, Lincoln Highway Pharmacy, the Manning Pharmacy, Walgreens and Walmart. “We have ample supply of vaccine available for students age 12 and older who will be returning to school or college in a few weeks,” says CCPH nurse, Sara Schulte. “We encourage all eligible county residents to consider vaccination to prevent contracting and spreading the virus.” To that end, a COVID-19 vaccination clinic is being held today (Thursday) from 1:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Health Offices. Please note, they have a new location within St. Anthony Regional Hospital, on the second floor south of the cafeteria. Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson vaccines are available. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are appreciated and can be done by calling 712-794-5408. Masks are required. The vaccine is free of charge, but there is an administration fee that is covered by insurance, so all attendees who have insurance are asked to bring their cards with them.
