With the recent resignation of Carroll Chamber of Commerce and Carroll Area Development Corporation (CADC) Executive Director, Shannon Landauer, the agencies have opened up applications for the role. The ideal candidate will be under the direction of both boards and is responsible for the coordination of economic development efforts among county and regional groups, will respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new business development and expansion projects and will provide information on financial packages and available programs. They will also coordinate an existing industry program, prepare and manage an annual budget and organize strategic planning for both organizations. The director must have the ability to effectively communicate on projects and activities as well as develop long-range plans while supervising staff and facility maintenance.
