Regional Directors for U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley will be hosting office hours in 21 counties over the coming weeks. Locally, Regional Director, Donna Barry, will be in Crawford County on Tuesday, Oct. 5 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the basement meeting room at the Crawford County Courthouse. Residents seeking assistance regarding a personal issue with a federal agency or wishing to share views on matters of federal policy may stop by during the scheduled hours. The meetings will follow safety guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of Iowa and attendees must adhere to local COVID-19 guidelines as well. “My top priority is serving the people of Iowa,” Grassley says. “Traveling office hours held by my staff is one way of doing that. My staff helps Iowans with issues they may have with the federal government and I hope anyone experiencing problems will use this resource.” Constituents routinely receive assistance in resolving issues with Social Security payments, military service matters, immigration cases and more. Iowans can also seek assistance through Grassley’s website by following the link included bel0w. Grassley will NOT be present at the traveling office hours.
