No injuries were reported, but there was an estimated total of about $4,800 in damages in a two-vehicle collision Thursday in Jefferson. The Jefferson Police Department responded to the scene at Lincoln Way and Elm Streets at approximately 6:31 a.m. Jackson Morton of Jefferson was northbound on Elm Street in a 2016 Ford Fusion and was pulling away from the posted stop sign. Daniel Gehling of Scranton was southbound on Elm in a 2005 Honda Civic and was also pulling away from a stop sign and collided with the Morton vehicle. There was disabling damage to the Gehling vehicle, estimated at $4,000, and the Morton car sustained an estimated $800 in damage.
