It is getting down to the finishing touches, punch list and furnishings at the new Carroll County jail, and we are giving you a sneak peek ahead of the upcoming planned open house and dedication ceremony. There is a photo presentation that can be accessed below. The upcoming open houses will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 13 and Nov. 14. There is also a cornerstone dedication ceremony planned for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13 which will be led by the Grand Officers with the Grand Lodge of Iowa, Free and Accepted Masons. Staff members will also be on hand to answer questions of those visiting during the open houses.
