Greene County authorities have requested arrest warrants on an as-of-yet unidentified subject on vehicle theft charges. A deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office attempted to perform a traffic stop on vehicle reported stolen out of Polk County at approximately 3:48 a.m. today (Tuesday) near O Avenue on 110th Street, northeast of Churdan. The driver stopped and waited for the deputy to identify them before fleeing in the vehicle.
