The Carroll County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office will be holding a childcare provider nutrition training class in early December. The course will include training on infant feeding practices, the benefits of breastfeeding, welcoming the breastfeeding family, infant feeding policy and storing milk safely. The Infant Feeding 101 course will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, at the ISU Extension and Outreach Office in Carroll, 1205 West U.S. Highway 30. However, registration is required by Tuesday, Nov. 30 at a cost of $10 per person. This can be done through the link included below. All classes are approved by the Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) Child Care Professional Development and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Those registering for the class will receive a bottle brush, bottle drying rack, baby tape for labeling and mesh dishwasher bags, a $60 value.
