A Storm Lake teenager has been arrested for allegedly supplying a marijuana vaping device to another student. The Storm Lake Police Department reports they were called to the Storm Lake High School at approximately 9 a.m. Monday after a 15-year-old student had a medical incident following use of the marijuana vaping device. The investigation led to the allegations against a 16-year-old female student, who was taken into custody at the scene and issued a juvenile referral for a controlled substance violation, a class D felony. The female was later released to the Cherokee Youth Emergency Services Shelter in Cherokee for placement. The 15-year-old student was transported to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.
