Area residents are invited to gather at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens in downtown Jefferson this weekend for the annual tree lighting ceremony. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5 at the park near the Greene County Courthouse. Snacks will be provided for attendees with a live bell tower concert during the lighting ceremony from Janice Harbaugh.
