Road Repaving And Down-Payment Assistance On The Agenda For Monday’s Carroll County Supervisors Meeting

Upcoming secondary roads projects and contract approvals for the county’s down payment assistance program are on the agenda for Monday’s Carroll County Board of Supervisors meeting. They will open with secondary roads, which includes plans for resurfacing of County Road E19 near Lanesboro, gravel contracts, and considering purchasing a new motor grader. The board will also consider sub-recipient and technical assistance contracts for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) down payment assistance program. The final items of business on the agenda are the approval of a 28E agreement with the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC) for group benefits and a proposal with Arcadia for incremental property tax revenues. The board will close the meeting with a tour of the new Carroll County jail, which opened last month. The Monday, March 7 meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the lower-level meeting room at the courthouse. It will also be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube page. Details on how to attend remotely and the full agenda can be found included with this story on our website.
