A Dedham man was uninjured after a single-vehicle rollover accident left his truck on its side on a frozen pond. At approximately 4:07 a.m. Monday, the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on Highway 141 just southeast of Coon Rapids. Authorities say 49-year-old Greg Alan Sporrer was traveling eastbound in a 2017 Ford F-150 when he lost control on the snow-covered roadway and slid into the north ditch. The vehicle rolled, eventually coming to rest on the passenger side on the ice-covered pond in Coon Rapids Sculpture Park. Sporrer was uninjured in the crash, but the truck was totaled with an estimated $20,000 in damage.
