Carroll County Record Scanning Project Returns To Board Of Supervisors’ Agenda For Monday

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors only has a few items of business on the agenda for next week’s meeting. The board convenes at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 21 in the courthouse meeting room. They will begin with a report from County Engineer, Zac Andersen, concerning the final payment and updates on ongoing secondary roads projects. This is followed by discussion and approval of a proposed lease agreement with the State of Iowa. Earlier this year, the Carroll County Recorder, Ashten Wittrock, and Auditor, Kourtney Payer, approached the supervisors with a plan to digitize much of the offices’ physical documents in storage. That topic will be brought to the table again on Monday as county officials take another look at the project quotes from bidders. The board will close the meeting with a discussion on lead and asbestos testing for the upcoming courthouse renovation and remodel, manure management annual updates, and reports from committees. The public is encouraged and invited to attend Monday’s meeting. It will also be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. Details on how to attend remotely and the full agenda can be found included below.
