Kuemper Catholic Schools kicked off their Faith Forward Capital Campaign yesterday afternoon in the high school cafeteria. The main speaker at the event was Kuemper Catholic School System President John Steffes. He says people have told him that the Faith Forward campaign is very fitting for the school because it allows supporters to reflect on their faith. Steffes says the scope of Faith Forward touches many aspects of Kuemper.
The campaign is broken up into three separate goals, the first being the Celebration Goal. The next phase is the challenge goal which is set at $9.5 million, and the last one is the victory goal which is set at $12 million. Steffes says they will need the support of the whole Kuemper community for the campaign to be successful.
Also in attendance at the event was Sister Sue Ernster, Vice President of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration (FSPA). The sisters got the campaign of to a great start with a donation of one million dollars. As of Tuesday afternoon, the funds stood at $6.6 million which is more than the Celebration Goal. Steffes says they are just getting started and invites supporters to invest in the students and future of Kuemper.
Individuals interested in donating can contact Kuemper Catholic Schools at 712-792-3313, and they will help you determine the best way to show your support for the Faith Forward campaign.
