Lori Ann Trecker, age 60, of Manning, IA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Thomas Rest Haven in Coon Rapids, IA, surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, April 8, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church in Manning, IA, with Rev. Lori Shannon officiating. Casket bearers will be Craig Rothfolk, Bob Bubon, Eric Desing, Ron Vonnahme, Jay Trecker, and Joe Trecker. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Manning from 5-7 P.M. on Thursday. Visitation will resume at the church from 9:30 A.M. – 10:15 A.M. on Friday prior to the service.

Lori was born on July 26, 1961 in Manning, Iowa, and was the daughter of Norman and Mary Jane (Grage) Rothfolk. Lori grew up on her family’s farm south of Manning and graduated from Manning High School in 1980. Following high school, Lori earned her certified nurse’s aide certificate from DMACC in Carroll and worked for Friendship Home in Audubon for 10 years. She then worked as a home health care aide in Carroll. She also worked at Whylie Eye Care in Carroll and Vision Care Clinic in Manning. She was married to Michael Trecker on November 16, 1985 at the First United Methodist Church in Manning by Rev. Joseph Sushil. To this union was born two sons: Jarod and Justin. Mike and Lori lived the Manning area all their married life. She was a member of Manning First United Methodist Church. Lori enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, playing cards, going to the races, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Lori is survived by her two sons: Jarod Trecker (Libby) of Grimes and Justin Trecker of Manning; two grandchildren: Addison and Jackson Trecker; her siblings: Craig Rothfolk (Twyla) of Minneapolis, Cindy Bubon (Bob) of Des Moines, and Mary Jane Desing (Eric) of Baxter, MN; her in-laws: Leonard “Jay” Trecker (Ruth) of Coon Rapids, Theodore “Tad” Trecker (Bonnie) of Connecticut, Joseph Trecker (Susan) of Coon Rapids, Denise Trecker of Kansas City, MO, Mary Vonnahme (Ron) of Carroll, and Cynthia Trecker of Kansas City, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents Mary Jane and Norman Rothfolk; and her mother and father-in-law Dennis and Barbara Trecker; her sister Kathy Rothfolk, and her husband Mike on December 27, 2021.
