No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of U.S. Highway 30 and Monterrey Drive on Thursday. The Carroll Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 11:55 a.m. Their initial investigation shows a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by 43-year-old Jeremy Tunning of Dedham, had stopped traveling southbound on Monterrey when the truck was struck from behind by a southbound 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 30-year-old Nicholas Hartley of Laurens. Both trucks sustained functional damage, and Hartley was cited for failure to maintain control.
