The Sac County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals at a home in Lake View on outstanding arrest warrants earlier this week. According to authorities, 37-year-old Kevin Tjaden and 32-year-old Amanda Vaughn were taken into custody at a home in the 2000 block of 320th Street at approximately 9:15 p.m. Tuesday night. Law enforcement reported that during a search of the home, stolen property was located and drug paraphernalia. Officers also searched Vaughn’s vehicle, which was parked outside the home, and found a substance believed to be methamphetamine in her purse. The charges stem from a search warrant served at Tjaden’s property on February 24. Tjaden’s warrant is for possession of drug paraphernalia and second offense possession of a controlled substance. Vaugh was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were initially booked into the Sac County Jail.
