On Monday, St. Anthony held their Hospice Volunteer event to recognize the 13 volunteers who offered companionship, socialization, and respite care to multiple patients and their families. Pat Vogl was named Volunteer of the Year for serving 44 hours in 2021. Vogl would stay with dying patients, offer respite care, and offer patient companionship to multiple hospice patients and their families. In 2021 the 13 volunteers served 11 patients and families. The theme for the 2021 event was Grow Thought Challenges. Volunteers were served a meal, and each received a gift from St Anthony Hospice to show their dedication to the patients and their families.
