The Carroll Police Department has released reports for two separate accidents in Carroll over the last several days. The first one occurred Friday, April 29, at approximately 8:28 p.m. According to authorities, the accident happened on Highway 30 and Main Street. Law enforcement say a 2016 Dodge Ram driven by 19-year-old Brady Rowedder of Carroll was southbound on Main Street when a 2006 Buick Lacrosse driven by a 16-year-old from Jefferson struck the Rowedder vehicle causing disabling damage. The Jefferson teen was cited for failure to yield on a left turn. The second accident occurred yesterday (Tuesday) at approximately 9:43 a.m. in the 1600 block of Highway 71. Authorities report that Jeramy Lund of Kingsley was driving a 2006 Ford Taurus when he fell asleep and left the roadway striking a light pole and a retaining wall on Pepsi Company property. Disabling damage was sustained to the Lund vehicle, and he was cited for failure to maintain control.
