The Audubon Fire and Rescue Association’s second annual Red Ball Tournament is scheduled to tee off next weekend. The event is on Saturday, May 21, with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Audubon Golf and Country Club. Audubon Fire and Rescue Association Committee Member, Jake Matthews, says last year was the first annual Red Ball Tournament, and they had a great showing of support.
The county club is a nine-hole golf course. Matthews adds that he expects a full tournament this year, and some of the hole challenges will be returning to this year’s event.
Matthews says they are trying to keep it fresh this year, so everyone has fun. He says the money raised will help fund a new building.
