The Greene County Sheriffs Office Arrested A Jefferson Man For Prostitution

Last week the Greene County Sheriffs’ Office arrested a Jefferson man for assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. According to law enforcement, at approximately 7:48 p.m. on May 9, a Greene County Sheriff’s Office Deputy investigated harassment and an assault at Henderson Park. They took 28-year-old Michael Teeples of Jefferson into custody. According to authorities, the next day, May 10, the sheriff’s office conducted a search warrant in the 700 block of South Wilson Street for the weapon Teeples used earlier at Henderson Park. The gun was seized along with evidence related to the case. Teeples was arrested for false imprisonment, a serious misdemeanor, assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor, intimidation with a dangerous weapon, reckless use of a firearm, class C felonies, and prostitution, a class D felony. Teeples was booked into the Greene County Jail.
