Travel back in time tomorrow (Saturday) with the 23rd annual Pleasant Prairie Threshing Bee in Jefferson. Hosted at the Foster family farm northwest of town, the Threshing Bee highlights historical farming practices and some of the equipment used by the people who first settled in the Midwest. Displays include an oat threshing demonstration at 10 a.m., plowing at 2 p.m., and corn shelling and steam engine showcases happening throughout the day. Saturday’s Pleasant Prairie Threshing Bee is free to attend and promises a fun experience for the whole family.
