The Black Hawk Men’s Club is calling all anglers to help them remove some carp from Black Hawk Lake and possibly make some money. The 2022 Carp Contest I set for Saturday, August 20, and Sunday, the 21. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. on the 20 and 2:00 p.m. on the 21. Participants do need to register, and it costs $10 per person. Registration is at the Town Bay Shelter House in Lake View on the day of the event. Over $5,000 in cash prizes will be awarded along with numerous donated items. Individuals can visit the Black Hawk Men’s Club Facebook page for more information.
