The City of Carroll invites residents to join them tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon in wishing Mike Pogge-Weaver farewell on his last official day as city manager. City staff, council members, community leaders, and residents will gather at City Hall on Thursday, Nov. 3 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Pogge-Weaver became city manager in 2016 and has overseen several substantial projects in the community, including the transition to a new city hall on Adams Street, significant remodels and modernization at the Carroll Public Library, a new street maintenance facility for the Public Works Department, and many others. He announced near the end of September that he had accepted an offer from the City of Johnston to become its next administrator. Former Carroll Police Chief Jeff Cayler will serve as interim city manager until Pogge-Weaver’s replacement is hired.
