The Storm Lake Police Department reports a man was arrested over the weekend on allegations of indecent exposure while on the Buena Vista University (BVU) campus. According to law enforcement, officers responded to the campus at approximately 12 p.m. Friday in response to suspicious activity. Authorities say two students observed a male subject in a vehicle masturbating in public view on at least two occasions last week. Police identified the suspect as 47-year-old Romel Ona Gomez of Storm Lake, and he was taken into custody Saturday in connection to the investigation. He was booked into the Buena Vista County jail on two counts of indecent exposure, a serious misdemeanor.
