Registration is now open for the Western Iowa Tourism regional meeting, to be held Wednesday, July 27, at Kings Pointe Resort in Storm Lake. This year’s meeting will feature presentations by Stacy Kluesner of the Iowa Restaurant Association and Jason Hohn with the Alcholic Beverages Division. Kluesner will talk about ways to unleash the potential draw of Main Street restaurants and taverns while Hohn will discuss exactly what organizers should know and avoid when including alcohol in their events. The meeting will open at 10 a.m. on the 27th with registration and will get underway at 10:30 a.m. Registration of $25 per person is required to attend the seminar and is due by Friday, July 22.
