The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will convene on Monday morning for their regularly scheduled meeting with secondary roads, and a Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 public hearing on the agenda. The supervisors will meet at 9:00 a.m. and begin with an acknowledgment of national Vietnam War Veterans Day, which falls on Wednesday, March 29. The courthouse HVAC and remodel project returns to the agenda as the supervisors will discuss the first changer order for the approximately $4 million overhaul. Also on the supervisor’s agenda is a 9:30 public hearing on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 proposed tax levy. After the public hearing, the supervisors will approve the FY24 maximum property tax dollars and set another public hearing for the proposed FY24 county budget. The meeting takes place in the supervisor’s meeting room at the courthouse and will be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel.
