April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and Family Resource Center in Carroll is once again bringing food trucks to town for the next four Thursdays to raise awareness. In 2022, FRC hosted a similar program to much success, and staff opted to bring it back for another year. Each Thursday in April, a food vendor will be parked outside the Family Resource Center’s facility at 502 W. 7th St. from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The money raised from the sales benefits FRC’s Crisis Care and Parent Timeout programs. The schedule includes Smokin’ Hot Rednecks on April 6, Hy-Vee and Kate’s Kookies on April 13, Zipp’s Pizzaria on April 20th, and the Feed Shack on April 27.
