The Carroll RAGBRAI Committee invites the public to join them tomorrow (Thursday) as they celebrate before the true work begins as the community readies itself to welcome tens of thousands of riders later this summer. The Carroll RAGBRAI Kick-Off Party begins at 5:30 p.m. at Santa Maria Winery with a social hour. Chamber Program Director Ashley Schable says they will launch the evening’s program at 6:30 p.m.
Volunteer Coordinator Katie Kruse says they’ve already received many requests for Carroll RAGBRAI apparel, and tomorrow (Thursday) will be the first opportunity for the general public to make those purchases.
Schable and Kruse add Thursday’s Kick-Off is an excellent way for people to learn how their talents will be helpful as a volunteer, sub-committee member, and more. Again, the social begins at 5:30 p.m. at Santa Maria Winery, with the evening’s program starting at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
