A Coon Rapids man faces burglary charges in Carroll County District Court for alleged theft from a motor vehicle earlier this month. Court records show 40-year-old Alonzo Adan Arguelles was arrested last week by the Coon Rapids Police Department on an outstanding warrant for third-degree burglary—motor vehicle, an aggravated misdemeanor. Authorities say Arguelles entered an unoccupied vehicle in the 400 block of Main Street in Coon Rapids on the evening of April 13 and removed items valued at over $900, including a laptop and hand tools. He was booked into the Carroll County jail and released on his own recognizance after appearing before a magistrate. Arguelles’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 11 at the Carroll County Courthouse.
