The Carroll County Historical Society is excited to announce its annual open house, officially kicking off their 2023 summer hours. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 4, from 1 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will showcase all four historical sites for visitors to explore. The main museum, located at the corner of U.S. Highway 30 and Court Street, will be open, along with the one-room schoolhouse and the Trapper’s Cabin in Graham Park. Additionally, the Farmstead Barn on the east side of Swan Lake State Park will be open for exploration. Families are encouraged to come prepared for an afternoon filled with fun and education, immersed in the rich history of Carroll County. Admission to the open house is free for all attendees.
