Tomorrow (Sunday), area residents will gather in Templeton for a Sunday Funday to benefit the guy known for organizing many previous gatherings that have helped local families. Rick Hoffman has hosted the Sunday Fundays for years with a specific need behind each event. Hoffman has been diagnosed with colon cancer, and his friends, family, and those he has helped are coming together for Hoffman’s benefit. The day begins with the “Rollin for the Colon” poker run at the Still in Templeton. Registration opens at 9 a.m. for $10 per person, with the ride taking off at 10 a.m. The route includes stops at Level B in Manning, Wasted Grain in Carroll, Southside Bar in Dedham, and returns to the Still in Templeton. There will also be a car show along Main Street in Templeton starting at 10 a.m. A silent auction will be held throughout the day with a live auction scheduled at 4 p.m. Food will also be available to attendees for a free-will donation.
