A pilot was airlifted with severe injuries after his helicopter crashed near Deloit Sunday morning. At approximately 8:30 a.m., the Denison Fire Department and Deloit Fire Department were dispatched to the crash site on 310th Street northeast of the Crawford County community. The pilot, who was not identified, had to be mechanically extricated from the helicopter before being airlifted to an Omaha, Neb. hospital for treatment of his injuries.
