Next weekend marks the 78th annual Wall Lake Farm Festival, and organizers expect total attendance to exceed more than 2,000 people over the two-day event. Brandon Aschinger, one of the Farm Festival’s organizers, says a lot has changed since the community first held the festival, but Wall Lake residents have always shown up in droves for the fun-filled weekend.
Aschinger says they don’t plan to waste time getting the Farm Festival started once the workweek ends Friday, Aug. 11.
Day two of the Wall Lake Farm Festival on Saturday, Aug. 12 is an all-day affair, beginning at 7 a.m.
Aschinger adds they are bringing in food trucks on Friday and Saturday on Main Street for attendees to try a variety of different food options. The 78th annual Wall Lake Farm Festival is organized by a committee of volunteers, including Brandon and McKayla Aschinger, Tanner and Ali Bengford, Craig and Rachel Brotherton, and Trevor Aschinger. A link to the full schedule of events and attractions for next weekend’s fun in Wall Lake is included with this story on our website.
