The Kuemper Catholic School System paused last night (Thursday) at the Santa Maria Winery in downtown Carroll to recognize the remarkable strides their Faith Forward campaign has taken since March 22, 2022. The date is no coincidence, it commemorates their founder, Father Kuemper’s birthday, March 22 of 1855.
60% of the funding has already brought Catholic school teacher’s salaries up to par with public schools.
Any new Faith Forward funds will go toward infrastructure modernization. Steffes illustrated where that stretch money is earmarked.
Steffes says the Faith Forward campaign has already met the goal of the tuition assistance program to help parents who desire a Catholic education but simply cannot afford it. In all 4 current teachers spoke at the podium at Santa Maria winery last night, every one fought back emotions to express how fortunate they feel to work at Kuemper Catholic.
