Audubon High School Places Fifth In Bank Iowa Challenge Cup

Another local school has placed well in the Bank Iowa Challenge Cup awards this year. Audubon High School placed fifth in the 1A class and scored 545 points, only 95 points behind the first-place Falcons of St. Albert’s in Council Bluffs. Audubon’s highest scoring activities for the challenge were the boys’ varsity wrestling team and large group speech. The wrestling team scored 55 points, and speech scored 50 points. The Bank Iowa Challenge cup tallies points for all activities a school competes in during the year. The winning school in each class receives a $2,000 dollar prize for their achievement to be used at the school’s discretion.
