The 2024 Iowa Legislative Session begins in less than two weeks, and the Carroll County Growth Partnership (CCGP) and Carroll Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee are gearing up to host town hall meetings with the area’s representatives. District 11 Representative Brian Best and District 6 Senator Jason Schultz are tentatively scheduled for four events throughout the county on the fourth Saturday of each month during the session. Those dates include Jan. 27, Feb. 24, March 23, and April 27. Each meeting allows constituents to hear directly from their representatives and bring any questions or concerns to them directly. Host sites and times have not yet been announced, but CCGP and Chamber staff are expected to release that schedule very soon. The 2024 Iowa Legislative Session begins Jan. 8, 2024.
