The Coon Rapids-Bayard and Glidden-Ralston Community School Districts have approved a shared agreement of a superintendent in their Dec. school board meetings. Coon Rapids-Bayard currently shares Superintendent Eric Trager, who will be retiring after the end of this school year, with the Audubon Community School District. Audubon has announced that it is entering into a new shared agreement with a different district for the 24-25 school year. Trager says that after exploring options, Glidden was the best fitting for the Coon Rapids-Bayard district.
Grundmeyer Leader Search has been approved as the search firm to aid in finding the next candidate for the position. Trager says both districts are conducting a survey to allow stakeholders and community members to voice their opinions to aid Grundmeyer in finding the ideal professional for the leadership role.
After the survey is closed on Jan. 12, the districts will continue to take applications for the position until Jan. 28. On Feb. 7; the screening interviews will be taking place, with the final interviews scheduled the following week on Feb. 14. Again, the survey is open until Jan. 12 and is included with this story on our website.
