Thomas Rest Haven in Coon Rapids is hosting their first outreach program for community members this Thursday. Social services director Rachel Hofbauer says Thomas Rest Haven will be hosting a Mental Health Matters program with Plains Area Mental Health Center as a way to be a resource for the Coon Rapids and surrounding communities.
The program is at 6:30 p.m. in the Thomas Rest Haven dining room. Hofbauer says this program is open to the public, and anyone can attend.
There is no need to register, and because of the Iowa weather we have, the program will be postponed to a later date if it gets canceled. Hofbauer is looking forward to this event and potentially more outreach programs in the future.
