Twin Lakes Boil Advisory Lifted Thursday

The boil order issued earlier this week for customers on the Twin Lakes Utilities water supply in Calhoun County has been lifted. The advisory was issued around midday on Tuesday following a water main break. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) requires water supplies to issue a boil advisory when the integrity of their system is compromised. Orders can be lifted once two samples taken for laboratory testing return clear of contamination, which occurred this (Thursday) morning. Operators thanked customers for their patience and understanding while the advisory was in effect. Those with questions can contact Twin Lake Utilities directly by calling 712-297-8616.
