A woman is in custody this (Wednesday) evening following a stabbing at the Fairview Village apartments in Carroll. According to Carroll Police Chief Brad Burke, officers responded to the 500 block of E 18 at 4:45 p.m. in response to the reported assault. Authorities say an unidentified female stabbed an unidentified male multiple times. The victim was transported to St Anthony Regional Hospital for treatment. The female was taken into custody and held at the Carroll County jail pending charges. An investigation into the incident is ongoing. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Carroll County Emergency Medical Services, and Carroll Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
