Auburn Hometown Pride and Auburn Historical Museum Hosting Veteran’s Tribute And Brunch For Holiday Weekend

Auburn Hometown Pride and the Auburn Historical Museum are teaming up to host weekend events to honor veterans and service members for the Memorial Day holiday. The Auburn Historical Museum will be open this weekend with a Tribute to Veterans display. The museum will open tomorrow (Saturday) through Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Auburn Hometown Pride will hold a community brunch to celebrate the holiday. Food will be served at the Auburn Community Building after the ceremony at the cemetery. The menu will feature biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage with coffee, and orange juice, with the special treat of a TJ’s Bakery cinnamon roll. Dine-in or carry-out options are available. The brunch is for a free-will donation, with the proceeds for the Reiman Park Gazebo project. Again, the Auburn Historical Museum and the Auburn Hometown Pride hope to see everyone at their events and honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
